Welcome to Boardtracker HOG Chapter #3588

Let's have some FUN!!

Boardtracker Hog Chapter is all about riding, good times, and good friends united by the passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. We put together a variety of rides from short trips to support our local sponsors to a full weekend getaway. During the cold Wisconsin winter, we get together to celebrate Christmas, enjoy a Janesville Jets game, or just hang out at Boardtracker Harley. Stop by the dealership most any Saturday for a burger or hot dog grilled up on the patio, and check out bike nights on Tuesdays from June through August.

Boardtracker H-D HOG Chapter members are a family, connected by our passion for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. We ride for community improvements, a cause, or just for FUN.

Hello all chapter members. Thank you to all that came to the chapter meeting. I would like to give a shout out to Bob and Rain Nietzold for the Union Dairy ride. It was a great ride. Also, to Sunnie Mitchell for going on her first chapter ride. She is new to riding and she did a great job on the ride in a group.

We had a great year for fundraising. So just to let everyone know, we donated $2,000 to Cambden this year and we are also donating $1,000 to the Rock County K-9 program. Rock County is in need of funds for a new dog.

Speaking of the K-9 program, there is a golf outing to benefit the program sponsored by Off the Hook Grub and Pub in Indianford. They are the same place that donated all the food for us to sell for the skydiver event, in which we made over $500. If you are interested in the golf outing, please contact Nick at Off the Hook Grub and Pub at 608-884-0900, or myself to get signed up.

Check your calendars for your upcoming events. Our chapter picnic is in August. I hope to see you all there. There is a signup sheet in the white book at the dealership, so please signup. Until next month be safe, ride hard and keep the rubber side down.

Sarah Harris - Secretary

Hello Harley Owners Group Chapter! I can’t believe that July is over. I hope you have all gotten a chance to ride while dodging rain drops, hail, and everything that Mother Nature has thrown at us.

I have updated the points and will be bringing printouts to the meetings. If you think there is something amiss, please let me know and we can work on correcting it.

In the meantime, “Get on your bikes and ride” ~Queen

Good morning fellow members, I can’t believe it’s the end of July already. This summer is just flying by. We still have alot of riding time left this year and lots of great rides coming up. I hope to see you all at some of them.

I want to thank Bob and Rain Nietzold for leading the Union Dairy ride on July 15 to Freeport, Illinois. It was a great day for a ride. I would also like to thank Bob for leading my Physco Silo ride on July 22nd. I wish I could have gone, but we were leaving for the Tail of the Dragon the day before.

We only have a couple more months to sell our 50/50 Hogmongous raffle tickets. Keep selling tickets! Let’s make this year bigger than last year! If you need tickets to sell, stop in at Boardtracker, or get a hold of me. Ride safe and ride often.

Camden Playground

Accessibility helps take away the stigmatism placed upon those with special needs by allowing them the opportunity to interact with those without; CAMDEN Playground has allowed this to happen by giving ALL kids a place to play, a natural environment in which that fear is erased, and all people can play and grow together, equally.

Tub Run

The concept for the MDA Tub Run was developed about 22 years ago. It was decided that putting some type of event together to benefit MDA (since Harley Davidson and MDA have had a relationship for many years) seemed to make the most sense. An event that included a motorcycle ride that would end at a location that included food, music and activities was also at the top of the list.

And so, our event was christened the MDA Tub Run in 1994, and went off in June 1995 for the first time with about 200 riders. We raised $12,317 for MDA. Since that first year, our HOG Chapter has donated more than 2.1 million dollars to MDA. We thank those founding members for all their dedication and hard work. Without them and the many volunteers that have helped over the years, we wouldn't have achieved the level of success that we have. After all...our Tub Run is the 3rd largest event of its type in the country!
